About Kristen

(She/Her)

Hi! I’m Kristen Nyampong, a Registered Dietitian based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I take a person-centered approach to care, prioritizing trauma-informed and weight-inclusive practices to support my clients in a way that feels sustainable and compassionate.

I have experience working with individuals struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating, particularly in Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs. My goal is to help clients develop a healthier relationship with food by tuning into their hunger and fullness cues and fostering trust in their bodies—if and when it feels safe for them to do so.

As a Ghanaian-American, I’m deeply passionate about incorporating cultural identity into nutrition and wellness. I believe in culturally competent care that embraces the foods, traditions, and values that make each person’s journey unique. My counseling style is empathetic and collaborative—I want to help you succeed in a way that feels right for you. Whether that means menu planning, exploring new foods, or deepening your understanding of your body, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

I also believe in gentle yet meaningful challenges, always offered with care, grace, and respect. I’m especially passionate about working with individuals from the BIPOC community, as well as those who follow a vegan, vegetarian, or plant-forward lifestyle.

No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to help you navigate it with confidence and compassion.
