Hi! I’m Krystal Martinez, a registered dietitian, based in San Diego County, California. I hope to support you on your journey to finding peace with food, your body, and your well-being.
My mission is to help you reclaim your health on your terms, as we can create sustainable goals that address what you value. As they say, “It takes a village,” and I look forward to being a part of your community. I understand it is a process that takes time and energy, but you are worth the investment.
I worked in various settings such as a food access program, community clinic, and catering business, before becoming a dietitian. I appreciate my experience in my previous roles since it has helped me understand how social determinants of health affect what we eat. Upon my transition, I am happy to support clients with their individualized nutrition needs, to feel strong, nourished, and energized.
As a first-generation Mexican American and a foodie, I take pride in honoring cultural foods and celebrating foods that fit your taste buds and lifestyle. Food is energy and a pivotal part of our day that connects us with others and ourselves.
My favorite ways to unwind are practicing yoga, exploring new trails, trying new restaurants, and social dancing with friends
