Broiled Peaches Frozen Dessert

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • fresh peaches

Instructions 

  • Cut 4-5 fresh peaches into halves, removing the pits.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, vanilla extract, sea salt, and cinnamon to create maple cinnamon glaze.
  • Brush each peach half with maple cinnamon glaze, ensuring they are well coated on all sides
  • Place peach halves on a baking sheet, positioning it about 6 inches from the heat source. Broil peaches on high for approximately 5 minutes, or until caramelized.
  • Optional but delicious: Brush the broiled peaches with any leftover glaze to enhance their sweetness even further.
  • To complete this delightful summer treat, scoop some ice cream of your choice on top of the broiled peaches.

Variations
  • If you prefer a more tangy and citrusy glaze, add a splash of fresh lemon juice to the maple cinnamon glaze.
