About Nikki

(She/Her)

Have you spent years trying to eat “perfectly” but still feel bloated, exhausted, or like your body is working against you?

You’re not alone—and you’re not doing anything wrong.

I’m Nikki, a registered dietitian and Certified Nutrition Specialist with a master’s in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. I work with women navigating hormonal imbalances like PCOS, perimenopause, Hashimoto’s, and fertility challenges—especially those who are ready to stop obsessing over food and start feeling grounded, energized, and connected to their bodies again.

I specialize in hormone health, body image, and nutrition counseling that’s both trauma-informed and culturally aware. Many of my clients are women of color, first-gen daughters of immigrants, or simply tired of one-size-fits-all advice that doesn’t reflect their lived experience. If you’ve ever felt dismissed or pressured by conventional providers, this space will feel different.

My approach is anti-diet, deeply supportive, and centered on gentle, realistic change. That might look like rebuilding regular meals after years of tracking macros, nourishing your body for conception without food guilt, or making peace with body changes once you’ve finally let go of restriction.

My ideal client isn’t looking for a meal plan.

  • They want to understand what their body is telling them—and respond with curiosity, not control.
  • They want to not only make peace with food, but feel joy around it.
  • They want a provider who gets it—and helps make nutrition feel more doable and less overwhelming.

More about me: I’m a proud first-generation Iranian-American, born and raised in Los Angeles. I live near the beach with my dog, and feel most at home outdoors—on long walks, in the ocean, or browsing the farmers market. I’ve worked in settings from skilled nursing to addiction treatment, but my heart is in 1:1 counseling—helping women reclaim their energy, confidence, and ease around food.

What to expect: Our sessions are a mix of education, real talk, and can be emotional at times. You’ll leave feeling clearer, lighter, and more in tune with your body. We’ll focus on what actually works for you, not what the internet says you “should” be doing.

What Clients Say About Nikki

I have already recommended Diabetes Digital and specifically Nikki to several people, even casual acquaintances I've met in support groups online. I am sincerely grateful to her for reminding me why I'm doing this hard thing. She's truly very good at her job and that's not always something that gets acknowledged. I'd gladly pay $1000/week for her. Thanks, Nikki.
Nikki is a wonderful listener and excellent at guiding you at your pace. I am so glad to have found it! I was offered compassion and education that empowered me to understand how I can manage my diagnosis.
I’m so grateful I found digital diabetes! I work with Nikki Saheb, and she is wonderful and attentive to my needs. I am seeing to improve my health and hormonal balance before pregnancy, and working with Nikki makes me feel confident that I can achieve this goal! And it’s covered by most insurances. Such a gift! We meet in an easy-to-navigate app, and you can see your session notes and log meals and other cool features that make keeping track of my health fun and easy. I love Diabetes Digital!
Nikki is pleasant, professional and patient. I instantly felt her care for me and know that I have found a partner who will help me accomplish my goals. Initially, I didn't know what to expect. Consulting with a registered dietician is one of the best decisions I've made in recent years. It was so great, I recommended diabetes digital to two friends this evening!
Nikki was personable and relaxed, which helped put me at ease. I have never done nutrition counseling, and with a history of experiencing body disruptions that included weight stigma and size shaming, I was very nervous. She made it a comfortable experience.
hank you so much for your kindness and expertise. Working with you has been the best experience. I am so proud to have reached my main goal - to lower my A1C - and I know I have the tools to keep up my progress.
I had a fantastic experience with Diabetes Digital. Nikki, my dietitian specialist, did an outstanding job educating me on how to tailor my diet to keep my diabetes numbers in check. She was patient, and knowledgeable, and took the time to understand my cultural background, suggesting modifications and providing insightful advice. Her follow-ups and detailed notes were incredibly helpful, allowing me to refresh my memory whenever needed. Nikki was always prepared to discuss my numbers in correlation with the food I documented, asking how I felt, what I did, and what I could do differently. Thanks to Nikki’s guidance, I was able to manage my diabetes more effectively, adjust my portions, and still enjoy my food. I truly appreciate her dedication and highly recommend her to anyone looking for personalized, compassionate support in their diabetes journey!
I initially requested nutrition counseling with the goal of losing weight. Well thanks to the outstanding knowledge, guidance, and care of my wonderful Dietitian, Nikki, my focus completely shifted. I am finally learning how to mindfully eat to help manage my Type 1 diabetes, no small task considering I was diagnosed 14 years ago and never received assistance from a Dietitian or Nutritionist. In a brief time, I have implemented a few recommendations to help me have better glucose outcomes (e.g., preparing a smoothie in advance to drink on days when I have back-to-back meetings; pairing nuts with a frozen fruit bar; mindful movement. I now swim 2 – 3 times per week!!). I love the collaborative approach used by Nikki to help me set reasonable and attainable goals for my whole well-being. I feel great when I meet goals and encouraged when I experience a minor setback. I find my sessions to be therapeutic and I never, ever feel judged.
Do whatever you can to hang on to Nikki because she is changing my life and I adore her and I would be devastated if she ever left (don't worry she hasn't said anything I'm just saying this as a preventative measure)
I love Nikki. She is always so engaged and truly listens to my concerns. She has also helped me get my HgbA1c WNL
I loved being able to just take pics of my food and load into the app rather than trying to enter serving sizes, macros, etc. It definitely made me more conscious about what I was eating throughout the week and where I might want to step up my game a bit. I was also impressed with how quickly Nikki picked up on and spoke to the connection between my food choices and the potential for feeling shame for those choices, as it is a pretty constant battle for me.
Thanks for being such a good listener and taking me seriously. I appreciate Nikki getting to know me and understand my unique situation
Really great experience. Nikki made me feel very comfortable and was very thorough with explaining everything
