What Clients Are Saying

Thank YOU for creating Diabetes Digital! I had no plans to work with a dietician because I was worried about feeling shame around my diagnosis as well as slipping back into disordered eating and ridiculous exercise habits. We’ve set really small and attainable goals to impact my A1C level in three months. We’re not cutting out foods. We’re looking at all facets of life (stress, sleep, meds, perimenopause), and it was made absolutely clear to me that pre-diabetes is not my fault.
These folks are the best! They work with insurance if possible. I love chatting about food and recipes with Tiana, it feels like I’m chatting with a friend when we talk. She takes such a joy in how she views food and has the nutritional knowledge to back it up which makes her a great fit for me. Also, I recommend checking out the site. As a Jamaican, I’m happy to see ethnic foods factored into the conversation and food lists. Lastly, try the recipes on the site. The salsa verde chicken is a hit in my house.
Diabetes Digital has been just what I needed since my doctor told me I needed to lower my A1C. After my diagnosis I was provided almost no education about what to do. I am so glad that I came across this group. My dietitian has been thoughtful in providing education, support, and encouragement to help me learn more about my condition and what I can do to manage it. I feel more empowered and less worried about how to care for my body since I started.
I had a fantastic experience with Diabetes Digital. Nikki did an outstanding job educating me on how to tailor my diet to keep my numbers in check. She is patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand my cultural background, suggesting modifications and insight. Her follow-ups and notes were incredibly helpful. Thanks to Nikki’s guidance, I am able to manage my diabetes more effectively, adjust my portions, and still enjoy my food. I truly appreciate her dedication.
Jenny Fernandez was great to work with. She was knowledgeable and empathetic. I could not have asked for more. I was on the fence about joining because I knew I needed to address my disordered eating with a mental health professional. While I know it requires a balance with nutritional counseling, I feel comfortable and confident in my nutrition education and that journey has already helped me get as far as I am today.
Diabetes Digital has been an incredible support to me in my prediabetes journey!! The process was so simple, and intuitive to get signed up. Lauryn is fantastic! I’m excited to continue our work together. She’s already educating me on small changes and is incredibly kind and sensitive. Plus she’s a joy to talk to. I appreciated her going through my recent test results to see how I’m doing with diabetes prevention and cholesterol management. I’m so thankful for this opportunity. Thanks for starting this organization.
