I had no plans to work with a dietician because I was worried about feeling shame around my diagnosis as well as slipping back into disordered eating and ridiculous exercise habits. My dietitian has been thoughtful in providing education, support, and encouragement to help me learn more about my condition and what I can do to manage it.
