Hello! I’m Lauryn Woodruff (she/her), a Registered Dietitian specializing in diabetes (pre diabetes, type II diabetes, and diabetes with complications), eating disorders/disordered eating, and general nutrition counseling.

My passion for nutrition is deeply rooted in my community nutrition and non-profit background. I work from a weight-inclusive, Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating paradigm. I enjoy building relationships with clients and use motivational interviewing and behavioral counseling skills to work with clients to find individualized solutions to their health concerns. I earned a B.A in International Studies from American University, a B.S. in Food and Nutrition from the University of Maryland, College Park, and completed my Dietetic Internship with Virginia Tech.

I’m a California native (San Fernando Valley girl hey!) and when I’m not working you can find me playing with my dog, checking out new restaurants with my partner, hiking, gardening or swimming.

My favorite part about my job is getting to know you my client, and then tailoring our work together, to fit your individual needs. I enjoy working with clients to find individualized solutions to their health concerns.
