About Alexandra

(She/Her)

Hey there! I’m Alexandra Martinez, MS, RDN, LD, a bilingual Registered Dietitian based in Weslaco, Texas, dedicated to helping you learn how to nourish your body without giving up the foods and traditions you love.

My passion for nutrition is deeply rooted in my cultural background. As a proud Mexican dietitian, I understand that food is more than just fuel—it’s connection, identity, and joy. I take a practical, compassionate, and empowering approach, helping individuals and families find balance by adding nourishment to the meals they already enjoy rather than taking foods away.

I believe nutrition should feel approachable, inclusive, and realistic. Together, we’ll focus on building a positive relationship with food, understanding your body, and creating sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel confident making choices that honor both your health and your culture.

With a personalized and collaborative approach, I tailor our work to your unique needs, preferences, and traditions. Using evidence-based guidance, I help you create long-term habits that support both your health and happiness—without restriction or guilt.

Originally from Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico, I’ve been living in South Texas for the past 13 years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my 4-year-old and my Persian cat, traveling, exploring new cuisines, and staying active through cycling—my favorite way to move and recharge.

I’m truly excited to work with you and help you discover how nourishing, enjoyable, and freeing food can be!

What Patients Say About Alexandra

Alexandra creates such a safe and supportive space. I never feel judged, and she truly listens to my lifestyle and preferences. Instead of overwhelming me with strict rules, she gave me simple, practical changes that made a big difference in how I feel every day.
Working with Alexandra completely changed the way I think about food. I used to feel like I had to give up all of my cultural foods to be "healthy," but she showed me how to build balance without losing that connection.
