Christin Mckenzie
About Christin
Hey there!
I’m Christin McKenzie, a Registered Dietitian based in Charlotte, North Carolina, passionate about helping people feel calmer, more confident, and more at peace in their relationship with food. I specialize in pre-diabetes, heart health, emotional eating, and meal planning, and I believe nutrition should feel supportive, realistic, and empowering, not overwhelming.
My approach is warm, welcoming, and judgment free. I combine evidence-based nutrition with practical strategies and compassionate support to help you build habits that fit your life. Together, we’ll create sustainable routines that nourish your body while honoring your individual goals, preferences, and experiences.
Food has always represented more than nutrition in my life. Some of my earliest memories are Sunday dinners with my family, where food brought us together through culture, connection, and shared experiences. Those moments shaped the way I practice today by recognizing both the emotional and practical role food plays in our lives.
I also understand firsthand how confusing nutrition can feel. I spent many years struggling with fear and uncertainty around food, which is why I’m so passionate about helping others simplify nutrition and move away from guilt and confusion. My goal is to help you feel supported every step of the way as you build confidence in your choices.
My Ideal Client
My ideal client is ready to move away from all-or-nothing thinking and build a healthier, more balanced relationship with food.
They may feel overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice, struggle with emotional eating, or want guidance on improving their heart health or blood sugar without following restrictive diets. They’re looking for practical support, realistic meal planning strategies, and sustainable habits that fit their everyday life.
Together, we’ll create an approach that helps you feel confident in your food choices while supporting your long-term health and overall well-being.
More About Me
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me reading, practicing yoga, or enjoying a cup of French press coffee. I love slowing down, spending time with my husband and our Yorkie, Nelson, and finding simple moments that help me recharge.
What to Expect in Our Sessions
Our sessions are designed to be a supportive, collaborative space where you can ask questions, learn without judgment, and build confidence in your nutrition choices. You’ll receive evidence-based education, practical tools, personalized meal planning guidance, and recommendations that fit your lifestyle. My goal is to help nutrition feel simpler, less stressful, and more sustainable so you can leave each session feeling encouraged and empowered.
I’m so excited to work with you and help you reach your health goals!
