About Sarah

(She/Her)

Hi there! I’m Sarah, MPH, RDN, a Registered Dietitian based in Houston, Texas, passionate about helping you build confidence in managing diabetes and metabolic health while creating a positive, sustainable relationship with food that honors your culture, preferences, and lifestyle.

My passion for nutrition is rooted in my diverse experiences across community research, food banking, nutrition policy, and agriculture. These experiences have shaped my belief that nutrition is about so much more than what we eat. It’s about supporting your health in a way that feels realistic, enjoyable, and aligned with your life. My approach is trauma informed, compassionate, and centered on meeting you where you are, helping you make meaningful changes without giving up the foods you love.

I believe healthy eating should feel flexible, empowering, and culturally inclusive. Rather than focusing on strict rules or perfection, I work alongside you to build practical habits that fit your daily routine and support your long term well being. My areas of specialty include diabetes, prediabetes, PCOS, menopause, and metabolic health across the lifespan.

Using evidence based nutrition guidance and a collaborative coaching approach, I tailor each session to your unique goals, experiences, and values. Together, we’ll focus on building sustainable habits, improving your confidence around food choices, and helping you feel supported every step of the way.

As a Korean American, I understand how important it is to preserve cultural traditions while working toward your health goals. I enjoy helping clients find ways to incorporate meaningful foods into their lives without sacrificing health or enjoyment.

Outside of work, I love exploring history through food, gardening, playing tennis, and I’m currently learning Korean. I’m excited to support you on your health journey and help you discover that nutrition can be flexible, enjoyable, and personalized to you.

Sarah creates such a welcoming and supportive environment. I always feel heard and understood, never judged. She takes the time to learn about my lifestyle and what feels realistic for me, and her guidance is practical, approachable, and easy to apply. The small changes she suggested have had a huge impact on my energy and overall well being.
Working with Sarah completely changed the way I think about food. I used to believe I had to give up the foods that are meaningful to my culture in order to be healthy, but she helped me find balance in a way that still honored those traditions. Her approach feels realistic, supportive, and sustainable, which made it so much easier to build healthier habits without feeling restricted.
