Tiana Lavin (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian based in San Diego, CA, with a focus on diabetes care. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 21, Tiana’s personal journey with her condition has fueled her passion for helping others navigate their health with empathy and insight. She understands firsthand the importance of feeling seen and supported and strives to create a non-judgmental space for her clients.
Tiana’s approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and meeting each person where they are to foster sustainable health habits that align with their unique lifestyles. Her dedication to diabetes care extends to areas like building self-management skills, exploring diabetes technology such as CGMs, and finding individualized solutions that feel empowering and accessible.
She earned her credentials as a Registered Dietitian through a rigorous academic and experiential path, enriched by her lived experience with diabetes. When she’s not working, Tiana enjoys exploring the vibrant San Diego food scene, hiking along California’s coastlines, and spending time with friends and family.
