Health at Every Size

Health At Every Size (HAES) is a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach to nutrition that shifts the focus from weight loss to overall health and well-being. Popularized by Dr. Lindo Bacon’s book Health At Every Size and supported by the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH), this philosophy emphasizes body respect, self-care, and sustainable health behaviors rather than basing goals off of a number on the scale.
