Begin with an in-depth initial consultation with your registered dietitian. During this session, we will order labs, including A1c, fasting glucose, and lipids, to assess your current health status. Alternatively, if your medical provider has conducted these labs within the last 30 days, you can upload the results to our secure message system, and we’ll add them to your chart.
Engage in structured, personalized 1:1 sessions with your dietitian every week. Our diverse team of experienced dietitians will support you in making sustainable lifestyle changes to lower your A1c and improve your relationship with food. Topics include an initial assessment, personalized nutrition plan, joyful movement, hydration, nutritious breakfasts, meal timing, reducing added sugars, boosting fiber intake, powering up on protein, incorporating healthy fats, managing stress and improving sleep, and celebrating your success.
At the end of the 12-week program, we will order labs again to assess your progress. Based on your A1c results and overall progress, we’ll create a long-term plan to help you maintain and continue your health improvements.
