The self-pay membership is structured on a monthly basis because we recognize that achieving lasting change in your well-being, especially when it comes to diabetes management and prevention, is a long-term journey that requires commitment. Behavior change is a gradual process, and simply providing information isn’t enough. Drawing from our extensive experience working with thousands of clients, we understand that it typically takes at least six months of consistent support and guidance to establish sustainable and lasting changes in one’s lifestyle, habits, and health outcomes.
We recommend working with your dietitian for an entire year to ensure you can address challenges and receive ongoing support throughout your journey to effective diabetes management and prevention. For our self-pay membership, you receive two in-depth monthly sessions and one support group session. If you have insurance coverage, the number of sessions you can have in a calendar year will depend on your specific insurance plan.
Of course! You are not obligated to continue meeting with your dietitian and can cancel at any time, provided you give at least seven (7) day’s notice before your upcoming session. If you ever decide to discontinue your sessions, we respect your choice and appreciate advanced notice to accommodate any changes in your care plan.
Yes! You can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) to cover the cost of our services. Please check with your plan administrator for details.
Yes, we can provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Just let us know!
